Taking pictures should be fun, and everyone has their own opinion of what “fun” is and what they would like to photograph. Most people also take photos to share with other people. This is especially true with the presence of social media and nearly everyone having a cell phone and/or computer.
For me, one of the things I enjoy is photography of wildlife in South Dakota, especially Buffalo … or to use the more technically correct term, Bison. I was recently granted access to the 54th Annual Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park. A part of that access included a tour of a herd of Buffalo. The Roundup is where more than 1400 Buffalo were driven into a corral at the southern end of Custer State Park. For more detail on the Tour, please check out my travel-blog site @ www.traveling-buddies.com.
Whatever you enjoy taking pictures of, just get out and “do it”. There is a tremendous sense of accomplishment when you see your photos come to life on screen and on-print. There is also joy in sharing them with others. Photos can be of almost anything under the sun. Go forth and “do it”.
